The Battle of Jakku!

After the Rebels victory in Star Wars: Episode 6 Return of the Jedi, apparently, there was a major, or better yet, MASSIVE battle over the planet Jakku, which didn't exist to Star Ward fans until Daisy Ridley revealed it at the Star Wars Celebration panel April 16, 2015.

Like most of us, I too believed this desert planet shown in the first teaser trailer was non other than our beloved Tatooine. A planet that has played a very important role in our Star Wars story.

So, what's Jakku's story. We want to know more about it, right?

Well here's a small something to look forward to.

I found out in EA's newest Star Wars video game; Battlefront, that there will be a DLC (downloadable content) available a few weeks after it is officially released that will include a Battle of Jakku map. This alone is very interesting because it WILL give us an opportunity to see this planet in action. Give us a little insight in the importance of this battle. It may have a significant implication as to why The First Order and The Resistance was formed. Then again, maybe not.

So now the wait begins! Not only for November 17th, the release date for Star Wars Battlefront, but also December 8 when the DLC Battle of Jakku is released!
